How to apply?
Applications are made on the fly with selection committees that take place every month. The process usually takes a few weeks. The 3 steps to join the program:

The startup studio’s support is very intense, enabling us to move from an extremely technical project to a business project with all the dimensions of marketing, communication, customer acquisition and market analysis.

The startup studio gave us a lot of things. The first step was to give me the means to take my technology out of the laboratory and develop a product around it. They forced me to go and see potential customers before having a product, and that’s not innate when you come from research. And finally, access to an ecosystem of investors, former entrepreneurs who can advise us, has been very valuable for me.

And then we’ll work with the people we’re working with to create a business model, a business plan, and then go and talk to our potential customers.

Thanks to the funding of a year of project maturation, Inria Startup Studio gives us the opportunity to create our startup project based on the research we have conducted over the last 8 years on flexible robots. Of course technology is important in such a project, but the program helps us to prepare for the different aspects of creating a company.
